Echiquier World Equity Growth A turned in a positive monthly performance of 4.15% and turned in a negative performance of -0.53% year-to-date. An improvement in the US dollar provided a good backdrop for fund performance in July as the focus of investors moved from tariff disruptions to fundamentals, exemplified by resilient earnings. Strong performers for the month included tech giants Microsoft and Nvidia, while healthcare companies Thermo Fisher and AstraZeneca advanced on good earnings reports. Latin America fared worse, as tariff fears and poor earnings results impacted Brazilian electrical equipment manufacturer WEG SA and Mexican retailer FEMSA. We added to both during the month as they went on sale. We also significantly added to Brazilian bank Itau Unibanco as the stock sold off on tariff fears. We also reduced our positions in Nvidia and Uber, taking profits as these stocks recently experienced very strong performance. While making changes in portfolio positions, there were no stocks entering or exiting the fund. We view the global economic environment in a period of decelerating growth, which should benefit our focus on leading global growth stocks.
